The Zendo Oriental Health & Lifestyle Centre is based on integrative medicine which is medicine that addresses body, mind and spirit health. The health & education centre is based in Cairns, Australia. All Zendo programes and treatments are based on oriental philosophy, holistic therapies and modalities specializing in shiatsu, natural therapies, acupressure, massage & body-mind work. Zendo Health operates in part as a community service that provides education, training & treatments to the community in Far North Queensland.
Zendo operates within a multi-modality structure, incorporating a diversity of programs designed to provide direct and indirect Health Education and Consultation services, to the Cairns community, the Queensland and National Health Services and the National and International Tourist industry. The establishment of Zendo Health as an integrative medicine and Oriental Health Centre arose from a life long dedication to the Oriental Philosophy and a deeply rooted connection with the Buddhist Dharma. 
The Centre is situated in Cairns Queensland in the tropical far north of Australia and is the home for national and international students in Oriental Therapies, Metaphysical Health, Transpersonal Growth work and Buddhist Studies A wide variety of courses and classes are held both in the Oriental Medical framework as well as in Buddhist Meditation Practices. Synthesized into a Body- Mind approach to health and wellbeing.Modalities like Traditional Chinese Medicine, various forms of Oriental manual therapies like Shiatsu, Traditional Thai Medical Therapy, Yin Shin Do, Taoist Yoga, Body andMind Interaction are some of the components offered.
Zendo Health runs other programs in conjunction with North Queensland TAFE (TNQT) and offers a recognised government Diploma in Oriental Medicine. With Intensive Weekends and Retreats conducted by National and International teachers and trainers on a regular basis, weekly and regular courses focus on bringing awareness in Physical and Spiritual Health and Wellbeing to the Cairns and regional community. Zendo Health aims at expansion and excellence in Health and Wellbeing in Community Care and Education.
